Lori Antonio Taveapont of Ballard, UT (1990-2014)

Lori Antonio Taveapont LORI ANTONIO TAVEAPONT Lori Beth Antonio Taveapont, age 24, of Ballard, was killed in an automobile accident on August 7, 2014, in Whiterocks. She was born June 24, 1990, in Roosevelt, to Paul Anthony Antonio and SherylLynn Grant. She married Christopher Frank Vigil Taveapont on June 30, 2014, in Ft. Duchesne.

Lori was a wonderful mother to her three children, and was always laughing, smiling and joking around. She had a big heart and cared for everyone. She learned how to sing at a young age in church and never really stopped. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and had a testimony of the gospel. She enjoyed beadwork, fishing, camping, and being in the mountains.

Lori was a great-great-great-granddaughter of Cannella & Susan Johnson. Susan was the sister of Chief Ouray. Susan's descendents are the Tim Johnson family, Taveaponts, Emma Alhandra family, and the Lula Johnson Atwine family.

Lori is survived by her husband, Chris, Ft. Duchesne; children, Beonka Lynn, Jenavieve LaRae, & Jeffrey Little Blue Star Antonio, all of Ballard; parents, SherylLynn Grant, Ballard; Paul Antonio, Salt Lake City; grandparents, Jonas & Joy Grant, Ft. Duchesne; Anna Jolynn Pargeets, Kansas City, MO; great-grandfather, Bobby Cuch, Whiterocks; brothers and sisters, Craig Antonio, Ballard; Anna Antonio, Kansas City; Tyson Antonio, Rebecca Ridley, Quincy Ridley Jr., all of Ballard and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Adelbert Pargeets, Sr.; Kathryn Francisco Antonio; Pete Antonio; great-grandparents, Floyd Grant, Edith Upchego, Arthur MountainLion, Sr.; Neva Colorow. Her grandfather, David Willie passed away only one week after she did.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 15, 2014, at 10:00 a.m., at the Whiterocks LDS Church. There will be a wake at her mother, SherylLynn Grant's, home, 1479 South 1500 East in Ballard, after 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Burial will be in the Red Knoll Cemetery under direction of the Hullinger Mortuary.
